This email is to confirm and assure you that we are taking each day step by step and adhering to government guidelines in respect of what we should do regarding the Coronavirus spreading.

We are currently open for business but this could change at any time depending on how the things progress, we totally understand students decision to stay away from the studio at this time. If you are still wishing to attend your classes please just check your emails and social media for updates before coming, as I said we are listening and will take any necessary action to keep everyone safe and healthy, which could mean closing the studio at any given time.
We will keep you updated as much as possible.

Benefits of Core exercises

There are so many benefits of doing core exercises, essentially they strengthen and improve stability in the torso, also improving spinal and postural control. Strong core muscles will help in preventing injury, and also aiding in the recovery from injuries. We offer 4 Core classes a week, Tuesdays 9.30am and 7.00pm, and also Saturday mornings 9.00am. These 30 minute classes are composed of 5 minutes of exercise with 1min rest between each set. For those of you who want to up the pace our HIIT Core Stability class on Wednesdays is at 6.25pm and is a non stop adrenaline pumping 30 min session.

Ashtanga Yoga for beginners

A 75 minute beginners yoga class!  

Small classes ideal for beginners or if you would like to try something new.

Too many Ashtanga classes are for one hour and end up cheating people out of a proper Savasana, not this one.

Boxercise follows the methods of boxing closely but without any physical contact. It is NOT a boxing class or a self-defence class.

It is a circuits, aerobics, beasting style of training developing hand-eye coordination,
balance, timing and technique, whilst working all major muscle groups.

It is a great stress buster, suitable for both sexes, ages and levels of ability and more importanly its fun!

You will need gloves, but we have some at the studio for you to use.

Mums & Tots Pilates courses

Fitness Pilates, where babies and toddlers can come too…

A 45 minute mixed ability Pilates class that is specifically designed for mums to exercise whilst keeping their baby/tot amused. No more trying to find childcare! We encourage your little ones to join in the fun whilst teaching you a fab all body exercise class. We go with the flow, if your little one has other ideas that’s no problem…we all know we can’t plan much when it comes to babies and toddlers!

You are welcome to stay for a cuppa and biscuits afterwards too in a friendly, relaxed setting.

Suitable for mums with tots up to 5 years old.

The wellbeing workshop will be led by Hannah Leggott and Sarah Root. Hannah is an investment banker and yoga teacher/L3PT, who teaches yoga at Raphael Fitness and Sarah is an HR business partner and welling coach, who has been a member of Tai-Ga and Raphael Fitness for a number of years.

Both Hannah and Sarah  offer practical and realistic resources to men and women seeking guidance and information on how to improve self-care, whilst juggling a myriad of tasks, like jobs, family and other daily responsibilities, in an ever evolving and fast paced environment, where the expectations on a person to be continually delivering are at an all time high.
