Yoga

We take a modern movement approach to teaching yoga while maintaining a deep respect for this ancient science. Offering Hatha, Ashtanga and Vinyasa flow styles.

Vinyasa Flow

A fitness-based approach where students will focus on linking conscious breath with a vigorous and mindful flow.

In the yoga class, students will build strength, flexibility and concentration while cleansing the body and calming the mind.

You can expect a great cardiovascular and strength building workout combined with breath work.

Hatha Yoga

This is a traditional system that includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises), which help bring peace to the mind and body.

A relatively gentle, slow practice and great for beginners or students who prefer a more relaxed style where they hold poses longer.

Ashtanga Yoga

Ashtanga Yoga is a flowing practice following a set routine it is one of the more popular styles of yoga, and was introduced by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in 1975.

This style of yoga involves doing specific sequences of poses, which are done in a continuous, flowing, fast-paced manner.

Our Ashtanga class is for 75 minutes, allowing students a proper savasana at the  end of class.

Purestretch

A 30-45 minute stretch class to lengthen muscles and release tension.

This is a mixture of both Pilates and Yoga aimed at improving joint flexibility, increasing range of movement and strengthening your core.

Relax and restore energy, with calming thoughts and overall wellbeing.

This class is suitable for all.

Pilates

Pilates

Using original Joseph Pilates exercises, we offer traditional mat-based Pilates and body control Pilates, suitable for both beginners and intermediates.

Increasing core strength, spinal flexibility, stamina and concentration, focusing on quality of movement rather than quantity re-habilitating the body through contrology.

We also offer Mums & Tots Pilates with our specialist instructors so you can still exercise with your little ones.

Dumbbells/Kettlebells

DUMBELLS AND KETTLEBELLS ON A MAT

One of the biggest differences between kettlebells and dumbbells is that the
weight is offset and unbalanced in a kettlebell. The handle of a kettlebell
weighs much less than the “ball” of the kettlebell, whereas dumbbells are
balanced from end to end, also the handle of the kettlebell is smoother
allowing movement in ballistic exercise.

Both of our free-weight classes concentrate on your form, building strength in your muscles, increasing reps and size of weights depending on class content.
A great fat burning 30 minute class

Core

A 30 minute class composed of 5 minutes exercise 1 min rest and repeat.

Focusing on core stability, working primarily on the abdominals, obliques, lats and glute muscles.

This is a must class for everyone, as weak core muscles can lead to more
fatigue, less endurance and possible injuries.
